Billy F. Gibbon of ZZ Top -

Being nominated #32 of Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 100 Guitarist of All Time, Billy Gibbons is a guitarist's guitarist. In early 1968, his psychedelic garage band, the Moving Sidewalks, opened four Texas shows for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. According to local lore, Hendrix was so impressed by Gibbons' facility and firepower that he gave the young guitarist a pink Stratocaster as a gift.

One of the few rock & roll group with its original members still aboard after four decades, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, ZZ Top play music that is always instantly recognizable, eminently powerful, profoundly soulful, and 100% American.

Jeff is considered by many to be the best electric bass player on the planet. His solos are amongst the greatest ever played on a bass guitar, and his harmonic and melodic approach to playing are legendary. Jeff Berlin uses the Babicz FCH-4 bass bridge, gold.
"Jeff Babicz re-invented the bass bridge and made it as necessary as my amp and my bass. I only play equipment if it sounds great, and I am only about tone and the resonance of tone, which is why the Babicz Bridge is on my bass" - Jeff Berlin

Scott Ambush

“As a bassist and luthier I am always keenly aware of what makes an instrument tick. I pay close attention to all the elements that make a great bass just that; a great bass. After installing the Babicz Full Contact Bridge, what struck me immediately, was the increase in volume of the bass un-amplified! The body just seemed to vibrate more readily. Amplified, the tone is more focused, and more of the energy put into the plucked string is converted into sound. Also, as a luthier, I'm fascinated by design. The Babicz FCH is one of those of those designs that made me ask myself, "why didn't I think of that?!?!" I wish I had! ~Scott Ambush-Spyro Gyra

Billy Fuller

“The Babicz Bridge is a really nice feature….it holds your intonation and set up, even when you change strings……very nice!”       -Billy Fuller~Robert Plant 'Sensational Space Shifters’ Band

Branden Campbell

“The Babicz bass bridge brings a depth to top loaded basses that you usually identify with string thru. The Babicz also revived my vintage 70's P-bass for me. Prior to the Babicz, the bass had notes that would jump out, or disappear. The Babicz smoothed out all the problem notes. I'm glad I took a chance on this "full contact" science, because it lives up to the name!”

Dan Spitz (Anthrax, DeuxMonkey) with his Babicz Full Contact Hardware Tele Bridge!

Just got my Tele. Most amazing guitar I've ever touched (and I've had a couple). The bridge you have dreamed up in your sleep has taken a Custom Shop Tele to a level never obtained previously by anyone on this planet. It's simply amazing for palm muting and then when you release and roll back the volume on my Joe Barden's it turns into 407 different guitar tones that any human can chew. It enters the listeners soul and embeds itself forever !!! SICK !!! SICK !!!

FullContact = SpitzContact = TeleContact = HumanContact !

~Dan Spitz

Stuart Ziff

"The Strat really has changed. "First, I like the fact that the bridge is " lighter " therefore not adding any excess weight to the guitar. Second, the Sustain factor is somewhat noticeable in a Huge way. The articulation and how it seems to be reacting to the special Fender Pick ups I have on that guitar was really obvious to me at first listen. I didn't have any dead spots on that Start to begin with but now there seems to be a lot more presence in the notes. I even played both guitars at home through my gear and I'm " Blown Away " with the sound and articulation."~Stuart Ziff~WAR, GIT Faculty

Dave is still busy touring and recording constantly with Jools and other sessions both live and in the studio.

"I am really impressed with the performance of these Babicz bass bridges. The qualities in a good bass bridge for me are accurate intonation, adjustability, with a solid and reliable design. Also, I mute the strings with the edge of my hand at the bridge a great deal, so comfort is also important. There are no annoying sharp edges and aesthetically the bridges looks great too!

I'm extremely happy with these Babicz bass bridges, and my Fender basses have never sounded better!" ~Dave Swift

Best known as the bass player for the progressive rock band Spock’s Beard, Dave has also played with such artists as Gary Myrick, Bobby Kimball of Toto, Simon Phillips, Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, Glenn Hughes, and Eric Burdon and the Animals.

Dave Meros with the Babicz FCH 4 Bridge...here's what Dave has to say:

"Installed the bridge last night and love it! It's changed the tone and feel of my bass in a very subtle but good way that I can't really describe except for now if feels and sounds "more expensive". ;-) It's also had an effect that I was not expecting, and that was to improve the fine intonation in the higher register. I've had a very subtle and elusive intonation problem with that bass ever since I got it and have even taken it into a really talented luthier here in Sacramento who made it better, but it still bugged me a little bit up really high, in that 18th - 20th fret range. . .always seemed slightly out of tune and "chorus-y" even though it scoped out in tune.
Anyway, I put the Babicz on there and problem solved instantly! That high D just rings out pure and clean now.
Another unexpected result is that I have been able to lower my action a little bit more than I could before. I know. . .this doesn't make sense to me why a bridge would allow me to do that, but I'm not complaining.
I think the feature that I love the most, though, is that every place that can be adjusted can also be locked down. No more adjustment screws loosening up and messing up my intonation or string height. Yay!

Plus it looks awesome. ;-) Thanks for inventing a great product!! Cheers.........Dave"
